Lo-Ro Barriers for New Shopping Centre Development

The construction of the new Taylors Beach shopping complex owned by the Harvey Norman group is being overseen by Mainbrace Constructions. Daracon Engineering is constructing earthworks, a roundabout and extensive car parking to the value of $40 million.

This 6-8 month project is being made safer with the addition of 500m of Lo-Ro crash barriers supplied by Orange Hire.

Deltabloc barriers for Stage 1 Nelson Bay Road Upgrade

TfNSW has awarded stages 1 and 2 of the Nelson Bay Road upgrade to Daracon, with the first stage between Williamstown and Bobs Farm commencing recently. The total value of this project is $275 million with this project likely to run for two years.

Orange Hire has been able to assist with 2.125 kilometres of concrete road barriers, installed quickly and efficiently by our team over six busy nights.

Deltabloc barriers and crash cushions in Muswellbrook

Orange Hire has been successful in securing a hire contract for an intersection upgrade in the Hunter. Daracon is managing this project on behalf of Transport for NSW, which involves upgrades to Thomas Mitchell Drive and Denman Roads to the value of $785K.

Orange Hire supplied 700m of Deltabloc concrete crash barriers complete with crash cushions which will remain in place throughout this 8 month project.
